Orlando Sanford International Airport Parking

Sixteen miles from Orlando city center is Orlando Sanford International Airport, which caters for both domestic and international traffic, with more than one million passengers passing through its terminals every year. Limited international flights are available to the UK, Scotland and Northern Ireland, as well as to a few destinations in the Caribbean and Canada.

The airport has two terminals; Terminal A has international flights and Terminal B domestic flights. Both terminals offer post services and post boxes, ATMs are widespread and exchange bureau are available at terminal A.

Chadwick's Pub serves food and alcoholic drinks in terminal A, but a large variety of restaurants and cafes are available throughout the airport. In the domestic terminal, Blue Sky Express serves coffee and snacks, while Blue Sky Spirits serves alcoholic drinks.

Terminal A offers a wide range of shops such as the American Road Shop, Reel Stuff and the Ron Jon Surf Shop, with a common duty-free shopping area. Terminal B has a good choice of newsagents with a few souvenir and gift shops.

The nearby Marriott Orlando Lake Mary Hotel offers a fully equipped business center, including conference rooms and computer access.

Wheelchairs, special ramps and toilets, as well as wheelchair accessible telephones, are widespread around the airport.

Public transport
The airport is easily reached by car, bus or taxi. Shuttle bus transportation is available to Orlando for $21 one-way.

Taxis are much faster and a more economical option if you travel in a group of four or more people. Taxi vans, which accommodate up to nine people, are also available, and can be either metered or negotiated on departure according to your destination.

Private vehicles
By car, Disneyworld can be reached following the toll expressway 417. The journey to the resort takes just under an hour. Orlando city center is also along the 417 Expressway; the journey to the center doesn't take more than half an hour.

A short term parking facility is located near the domestic terminal, while long-term parking is available at a more distant parking lot, connected to the airport by a courtesy shuttle bus (open daily from 10:00 to 18:00).
