The Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport is situated 10 miles west of New Orleans city center and mainly serves the domestic market, including carriers such as Southwest, US Airways, AA, Continental and Delta Airways.The single terminal of the airport is composed of four concourses; A, B, C and D.
The main ticket hall offers a post office and Whitney National Bank. ATMs and exchange bureaux are widespread, located in the East Lobby near Concourse B, in the ticket lobby next to the bank, in the West Terminal, on the Lower Level near the Southwest Airlines Baggage Claim, and on the Lower Level near the Charter Baggage Claim. Lockers are unfortunately not available but a storage facility at the baggage reclaim area is provided between baggage carousels 5 and 6.
Shops, restaurants and cafés are situated around the main terminal, with other facilities including a lost property office on the upper level of the West Lobby near Concourse C.

Information services are available from 08:00 am to 21:00 pm in the West

1020) and in the East Baggage Claim area.
Business facilities
On the mezzanine level above Concourse C, business travelers will find all
necessary facilities open from 08:30 am to 16:30 pm, with meeting rooms
for up to 50 people. Audiovisual equipment, conference calling, data ports,
presentation equipment and catering services can all provided upon reservation

Disability assistance
The airport is fully equipped for disabled people, and there are also eleven
TDD telephones (Tel: (+1) 504 463 1057) scattered around the main terminal.
Public transport
Taxis are found on the lower level outside the baggage reclaim area.
An Airport Shuttle service is available, and operates between the airport and hotels in the central business district of New Orleans. Shuttle reservations can be made by calling tel: ((+1) 504 465 9780).
Public buses are provided by Jefferson Transit, offering public bus rides to the local district areas. The Greyhound Bus departure point is located on the upper level outside entrance 7 and offers a greater variety of destinations, while Coastliner runs shuttles to destinations along the Mississippi coast.
Private vehicles
By car, you can reach the airport from the I-310, following the Airline
Highway (Hwy-61) northeast. From New Orleans, take the I-10 west and then
the Airport Access Road exit.
Long and short term parking is available at the main parking lot. An outdoor car parking area for both long and short term parking is also located on the airport property at more economical prices.
