Chicago Midway Airport is situated just 10 miles from the center of Chicago. It operates as an alternative to the busy O'Hare Airport and is a well-organised airport that concentrates mostly on domestic flight services.
Chicago Midway Airport has three concourses (A, B and C), serving separate airlines such as American, Continental, and Southwest. Concourse B is the largest and provides most of the airport's flight services. Free facilities and comfortable lounge areas are found in each of the airport's departure halls along with ATMs.
In Concourse A, you will find Cafe Midway, Chicago Bar, the Food and Beverage Kiosk and Midwest Market Express. Concourse B offers the Food and Beverage Kiosk, while Concourse C has the Chicago Bar, Fenton Hill, Flying Food Fare, the Food and Beverage Kiosk, North Terminal Cafe and the Snack Kiosk.
Also located in Concourse C, World Books is a good option for gifts and books. World News is located in Concourse B and Concourse C and the Newstand Kiosk is found in Concourse B.

Public transport
Taxi services run 24 hours a day from door M5. Chicago Midway Airport taxi-vans
are also available. Shuttles run to the parking lots around the clock from
in front of the main terminal building at the Bus/Shuttle Center.
Buses and shuttle services operate from the airport at all hours of day, leaving on a 15 minute basis. Departure times and other service information are available in front of terminal buildings.
To downtown Chicago, take the CTA Orange Line rail service that connects Midway Airport. Tickets can be purchased at the airport or Midway Orange Line station near the airport on Cicero Avenue. A large map is displayed in the train station showing all CTA lines, stops and timetables.
Private vehicles
By road, you can reach Midway Airport from the center of Chicago by following
the I-55 south.
Hourly and daily parking facilities are located between 55th and 59th Streets across the pedestrian bridge from the Terminal Building. Cheaper parking is also available nearby, with free shuttles running to the Terminal Building all day.
