Located just six miles from central London, London City Airport provides a fast and convenient connection with major cities across the UK and Europe.
Passengers can check-in as little as ten minutes before departure. The single terminal comes equipped with a bank, three bureaux de change (ph: 020 7473 1087), ATMs, a left luggage and lost property service (ph: 020 7646 0088), and a post box. Numerous restaurants, bars and cafés catering for most tastes are scattered throughout the terminal. A newsagent is located before security, while after security are a number of specialty stores and extensive duty-free.
The Meridian Business Centre (ph: + 44 (0) 20 7646 0900) provides a range of conference facilities including audio and visual equipment along with secretarial support, fax, photocopying, Internet, and catering services.
Facilities for disabled passengers include dedicated parking, easy access to terminal facilities, boarding assistance, and dedicated shuttle bus services. Passengers should inform their airline in advance of any special needs.
Frequent direct shuttle buses link the airport with Canning Town, Canary Wharf, and Liverpool Street, which all lie on the Underground network. Taxis are available outside the terminal building.
For drivers, the airport may be reached from north London via the North Circular Road (A406), from south London via the Blackwall Tunnel, from east London via the A13 and from the M11 via the A406. Short-term car parking is found adjacent to the terminal building while long-term parking is run by BCP London City (ph: 0870 013 4509).
