Cardiff International Airport is the principal gateway into Wales and offers 13 direct flights to major cities across the UK and Europe, while it is the only airport in southwest UK to offer trans-Atlantic services.
The single terminal building houses check-in desks on the first floor and arrivals on the ground floor. Airport facilities include three Travelex bureaux de change, an ATM, baby change rooms, two games zones, and a children's play area.
A food court overlooks the runway (open 05:00 - 22:00) and offers various meals and refreshments. There are also two pubs offering traditional food and beer, open for all departing flights.

Facilities for disabled passengers include a minicom system at the information desk, dedicated parking, specially designed toilets, lifts, and use of airport wheelchairs.
There are bus and taxi connections to Cardiff Central Station, from where there are rail links across the UK (ph: + 44 845 748 4950). The airport is well signposted from the A4232, which connects with the M4 at Junction 33. Car parking boasts 24-hour CCTV surveillance (pre-book: + 44 800 128 128).
