Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport Parking

Located 16 miles northeast of Toronto center city, Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport is currently Canada's biggest and busiest airport, operating flights to major domestic and international destinations. After its recent consolidation, the airport is now composed of two terminals.

The consolidated terminal is home to Air Canada and the hub for most domestic flights, and Terminal 3 operates mainly long haul services. A 5 to 10 minute shuttle service connects the different parts of the airport complex and is free of charge. However, runways are very distant from terminal buildings and, once you set foot on the plane, it may take up to an hour before departure.

A baggage check service is open daily in both terminals, although there are no lockers available. Luggage carts, for a refundable $1 Canadian, are readily available. Smoking areas can be found near the airport bars and food courts.

Shops, food and beverages are available throughout the airport, as are banking services, ATMs and exchange bureaux.

Information
Information desks are positioned in all terminals. A speech-activated system is also available in Terminals 1 and 2 (tel: (+1) 416 776 3506) and terminal 3 (tel: (+1) 416 776 5100). Mobile customer service agents are also on stand-by to give you any further assistance.

Business facilities
Terminal 2 offers a fully equipped business centre, and Internet access is available in all terminals.

Disability assistance
Wheelchair access and specially designed toilet facilities are widespread for the disabled. For any specific individual need, please inform your airline ahead of departure.

Public transport
A taxi ride to Toronto city center will cost you approximately CN$40 (US$27). Delays are unusual and meter rates apply to all destinations.

Regular bus services go to Toronto and the surrounding area from the airport. For more information on bus services, tel: (+1 (800) 387-6787) or check on-line at: www.torontoairportexpress.com

Private vehicles
Access to Toronto city center by car is convenient, with the route being well indicated by signs.

A shuttle bus connects the two major parking lots next to the terminal buildings every ten minutes. Facilities for the disabled are also provided.
